A room code won't work
Codes expire when the game ends and rooms hold twelve. If it says invalid, the last character is usually the culprit — 0 and O are the common pair. Ask the host to read it again.
Someone dropped out mid-round
Their submitted answer is safe and they rejoin with their score. If a player goes for good, the round auto-reveals fifteen seconds after the timer rather than waiting for them.
I disagree with an answer
Good — that is most of the fun. Every question shows its source on the reveal. If the source is wrong or out of date, mail us the question and we will fix or retire it.
I want the drinking references gone
Turn on Soft Mode in Settings. The app then never mentions a drink; rounds are scored on points alone. Any player can request it and it applies to the whole room.
Delete my account
Settings, then Delete account — two taps, immediate, no email confirmation loop. If you have already removed the app, use itsballpark.com/delete and we will do it within seven days.
Ballpark is a game about judging scale. Tables often play it with a forfeit — the furthest guess buys the next round, or takes a sip — and that is a rule you set yourselves, not a mechanic in the app. The app does not track drinks, count them, or tell anyone to drink. It states a number at the end of a round and moves on. It is rated 17+, it carries a responsible-drinking note on first run, and Soft Mode removes the subject entirely. If you are playing with alcohol, drink water and get people home.
